A Two-Kilometre Bay Beach

The heart of Adrasan is its beach, about 2 km of shoreline curving round the bay backed by wooded hills. The seafront road, Sahil Caddesi, runs behind it, and a river reaches the sea here too, so some hotels sit on the water and others look onto the riverbank. Ford Hotel and Zulu Hotel are listed as beachfront, while most of the other places are a short walk back from the sand, from about 100 m to several hundred metres. If you want a holiday centred on swimming, reading and long lunches by the sea, Adrasan delivers exactly that.

Boat Trips, Coves And Coastal Walks

Boats leave the bay every day in season for tours to the surrounding coves, with Suluada island among the regular stops. In July and August Suluada gets busy, because boats also come from Çıralı and Kemer, so an early start helps. On land, the Lycian Way passes close by, and walkers head out along the coast towards the lighthouse at Cape Gelidonya; the trail is rocky in places, so wear proper shoes. Some hotels arrange boat outings for their guests, so ask at reception. And if you want to see the ruins of Olympos or the Chimaera flames, Çıralı is about 31 km away by road, roughly 45 minutes.

Accommodation here is almost all small and family-run. On or near the seafront you will find Ford Hotel, Ada Adrasan Hotel, Arkadaş Otel and Yavuz Motel Adrasan. By the river are Adrasan River Hotel and Arikanda River Garden Hotel, with Adrasan Gelidonya Hotel also on Sarıkavak Caddesi. Likya Adrasan, Lykia Edrassa Hotel, Zeyos Lodge, Margarita Otel and Otto Palace Boutique Hotel sit in the lanes a few minutes from the beach, Yonca Butik Otel is a little inland, and 7 Green Adrasan Hotel is set back about 3 km from the sand. Many rooms are in garden bungalows or low buildings. The pace suits couples, families and walkers alike.

Addresses, Seasons And The Trip Home

Many Adrasan addresses use numbered lanes, such as 130. Sokak or 229. Sokak, and online map pins are not always accurate, so the hotel name plus the full address is the safest thing to give us. The village is quieter outside summer, and some hotels open only for the season, so check that yours is open before you fix your flights. For the return, allow about 1 hour 45 minutes to Antalya Airport and add time for check-in on top. If you are adding a few nights in Kemer, it lies on the road back towards the airport. Child seats are free on request, so let us know the ages of any young travellers.

Antalya Airport, Then Down To The Bay

Adrasan is 110 km from Antalya Airport (AYT) by road, which takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. The route runs south on the D400 coastal highway past Kemer, then leaves it about 13.5 km before the bay for a side road through the hills; the final stretch follows Sarıkavak Caddesi down to the seafront. Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) is 271 km away, around 3 hours 45 minutes, so Antalya is the one to fly into. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a sign showing your name, and the vehicle is reserved for your party alone, with no shared stops along the way. We follow your flight, so the pickup moves with any delay. The hotels in Adrasan are spread along the seafront road and the lanes behind it, and you are taken to your own entrance rather than left at the beach.
