Beaches & the seafront

Alanya wraps a rocky peninsula in long ribbons of sand, and the swimming here is the easiest in the region. Boat trips leave from the marina daily, looping past the Pirate Cave, Phosphorus Cave and Lovers' Cave for swimming stops. Inland, the cooling Dim Cave and the gorge and waterfalls at Sapadere make easy half-day escapes from the heat.
